Care Instructions

To fully experience the beauty and intention of each Brain Wave candle, we invite you to follow these care practices, ensuring every burn is as exquisite as the first.

The First Burn: Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface on the first burn, approximately 2-3 hours. This initial “memory burn” prevents tunneling, ensuring a uniform experience each time you light your candle.

Trim the Wick: Before each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This practice reduces soot, enhances fragrance, and extends the candle’s life, creating a pure and intentional moment.

Mindful Placement: Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, and beyond the reach of children and pets.

Gentle Extinguishing: Use a candle snuffer or dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish. This helps preserve the fragrance and minimizes smoke for a serene finish.

Cool and Reset: Allow the wax to fully cool and reset before moving the candle to preserve the integrity of both the wax and wick.

Recycling & Sustainability

Tin Containers:
Our aluminum tins are infinitely recyclable. After your candle is finished, simply remove the wick tab and wipe out any remaining wax. Then recycle with your household metals.

Glass Jars:
Our glass jars are also recyclable! Once your candle has burned down, remove the wick tab, wipe or rinse out any remaining wax, and recycle with your household glass.

Whenever possible, we choose materials that can be reused or given a second life — thank you for being part of the cycle.
